~It all started while visiting Nice way back when. We discovered some beautiful handmade pottery in a small town not far from Nice. We inquired about the potter and the store owner said "c'est mon secret"....which started
a long journey of search and discovery! Not only for that pottery but for many
other treasures that France has to offer...both new and vintage.
And here we are 28 years later (in Feb 2025) still searching and discovering, albeit with a lot more knowledge of the quirky French ways ...when it comes to schedules and organization of market days and events....which is enough to drive the average person (especially Americans) crazy!
And all this is the reason that when you walk in the door at Coquelicot in Larkspur it feels just a little different than most places...a certain...
" je ne c'est quoi"....
Thanks to our loyal customer support over all these years we continue to travel with creative inspiration, looking for the illusive potter :o)
